hey im so sorry to hear that. Bentley is such an adorable bunny, and i send you guys my best wishes on a speedy recovery for that ever so cheerful sweet bunny bentley
Gastric stasis has a mortality rate of about 80%. We have about a 50% success rate in treating it but it’s always very serious. Bentley isn’t yet in stasis but it could happen. He’s our much-loved boy and I’ll my utmost to pull him through and try to prevent stasis taking hold. It is very worrying…
I hate hes not well hes not even mine and dang it I want to cry. (Sorry) Hes so precious I hope he will be okay really. Have you had other bunnies pull through with this? I am sorry I don’t mean to ask so many questions. Just know im thinking of your bunny and hope the best. I know thats not much but I do wish he makes full recovery.
Not eating or drinking. I can give fluids subcutaneously. He’s also having antibiotics for possible pain where he pulled his teeth out and possible bladder infection/crystals. He’s not eaten, drunk or passed anything for 2 days but is still as boisterous and bouncy as ever. For now but he could deteriorate soon and rapidly.
This breaks my heart it does I really hope he pulls through also. I mean that from my heart I went there. Can he be given IV to help make it go away is there medicine to help him get better? Hes such a beautiful bunny hes not eating anything is he drinking water?
I hope he’ll pull through – he needs to eat but won’t and syringe-feeds are spat back at me. You can read about him in Maddie’s Journal (address in video description above).
