How do I deal with jealousy?

My boyfriend and I just started going out a few weeks ago, and I’m really afraid of doing something to lose him. I really, really like him, and I don’t want to let jealousy ruin our relationship, but today, I had no idea what to do!
There are these two girls that wont STOP flirting with him! One of my friends told me that he heard them talking about how cute he was and how much they wanted to go out with him. Another of my friends told me the same thing and told me that he saw one of them ruffling up his hair, saying how much they loved it.
The same friend that told me this said my boyfriend doesn’t like them at all, but I was gettting SO MAD! I was slamming doors, lockers, everything.
How do I deal with this jealousy?
